VET

Vocational Education and Training (VET) at St Francis School ensures that all students have access to high-quality pathways, supporting smooth transitions between school, training, further education, and employment.

VET serves as an excellent introduction to the workforce, helping students develop essential work, employability, and life skills. It expands their career options while providing a realistic understanding of industry expectations.

Our training programs equip students with practical skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen fields. In collaboration with TAFE colleges, we offer a diverse range of opportunities, including both onsite and offsite certificate courses.

Participation in VET allows students to earn nationally accredited qualifications upon successful course completion.

Students are also offered the chance to participate in Work Place Learning, an endorsed program recognised by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA). This involves attending weekly work placement, and enables students to practise and develop their skills and improve employability in a work environment.
